Habitat for Humanity Playhouse Build

Playhouse Competition

The Cocoa Cup

Christmas in the Park is once again partnering with Habitat for Humanity East Bay/Silicon Valley for our annual Playhouse Competition! The program features local companies competing against each other to see who can build the most creative custom playhouse using a standard template provided by Habitat for Humanity. The winner takes home the "Cocoa Cup"!

To participate, companies donate to both Habitat for Humanity and Christmas in the Park ($2,500 to each organization). Participating companies then choose their theme and coordinate build details with the Habitat for Humanity team. Finally, participants will send their team of 10 volunteers to Habitat’s workshop to build and decorate their playhouse entry.

Playhouse entries will be displayed for the entirety of Christmas in Park along the Habitat walking path. In addition to providing a fantastic teambuilding experience this competition also offers great community exposure with your company’s name and logo featured alongside the playhouse and inclusion in event social media coverage and voting pages. After the event, the houses will be donated to local families through charities and organizations, such as the Blue Star Moms military support group.

For more information on how you can participate in 2023 or to sign up call 408-271-9627 or email info@christmasinthepark.com.
