The San Pedro Square Market is a special spot in San Jose and our Valley, a place where our history meets the present, dynamic Silicon Valley. It is a spot for food, drink, music lovers, culture, and those with a special taste for coffee, pizza, tacos, beers of every kind and the dynamic cultural food from the many people of our City. For those who love history, it is the center of this Valley, our last adobe of the original Pueblo and the Fallon-Castro home sit here and many of the giants of our history walked these grounds such as A.P. Giannini, Martina Castro, Carmel Fallon, Paul Masson and Luis Maria Peralta.
The Market is the all-around best place to hang out with the open-air plaza and various sidewalk cafes, as well as three unique interior spaces: The Three Sisters, El Dorado, and Market Hall. This lively spot includes over fifteen unique vendors selling everything from sushi to tapas to food from every continent. The aromas of fresh ground coffee and wood-fired pizza fills the space inside and out. The heart and soul of the Market is, of course, the historic Peralta Adobe, the oldest building in San Jose.
In the Adobe Plaza and the Three Sisters Patio, there is always plenty of outdoor seating where you can enjoy yourself, morning, noon and into the evening. It is the main vibrant center in Downtown. Come and explore it - take a stroll in the afternoon or have a relaxing evening filled with music and entertainment! It is home for all. Please come and enjoy it.
