With a tax-deductible donation of $50 or more, you'll become a member and supporter of the growing Friends Family of Christmas in the Park. You'll be part of bringing this holiday tradition to downtown San José. Your donation entitles you to receive invitations to all our events.
The easiest way to join the Friends Family is to click on the Donate Now button. You will be directed to our secure location where you'll see the different donation levels available and will be able to use your credit card to make the donation. Within several minutes you'll receive a tax-deductible receipt. Or if you'd prefer to fill out a donation form, send us an email and we'll get one in the mail to you. Once Christmas in the Park opens, donation forms will be available in the Information Booth.
Christmas in the Park is a community-based and community-funded non-profit organization. To keep this magical event free to the thousands of visitors each year, we depend on grants, corporate sponsorships and donations to produce this annual five-week event.
We have a variety of sponsorships available from sponsored trees to sponsoring a display or the Santa Booth. Please contact us to have one of our board members call you to discuss all the possibilities.
For $200 you can sponsor a section of fence. Your name plaque will be placed on the section and displayed every year. Download the form now.
Christmas in the Park is filled with more than 600 trees. For a $400 donation, you and your employees or friends can decorate an 8' tree. We’ll credit your donation with a sign underneath the tree and a listing on our website.
$500 will replace the sound system in one of the existing displays. Some of the holiday music is still played on outdated cassette tape players. Your donation will provide low maintenance digital sound.
Each year we look for sponsorship to renovate some of our displays. This often includes a fresh coat of paint, new costumes for the animation, additional animation or lights, and possibly a new sound system. The sponsorship is usually available from one to three years. Signs will be placed on the refurbished display to recognize the donor. Please contact us for more information on how to keep the magic alive. Christmas in the Park depends of community involvement and sponsorship.
For Christmas in the Park, in partnership with the City of San José-Parks,
Recreation and Neighborhood Services, to produce the annual five-week
display, we depend on corporate sponsorships, donations and grants. We’d
like to thank the following sponsors, both returning and new, for their
generosity to help us bring Christmas in the Park to Downtown San José
each year.
