| Blinky's Favorite Eateries is giving visitors a chance to save big during the holiday season with discounts to all our favorite local restaurants. These pins are custom designed and feature our newest friend, Blinky, in a chef's hat along with the name and year. All proceeds go directly to the Christmas in the Park.
In a survey taken last year at Christmas in the Park, we received an overwhelming number of respondents who said that they would more likely support local restaurants, if they knew those establishments supported Christmas in the Park. This popular event brings thousands of foot traffic and business to the Downtown San Jose area during the holiday season so it is no surprise that the businesses surrounding the park were eager to support Christmas in the Park.
How does the program work? It's easy! All you need to do is purchase apin and start saving! Each year the pin will be redesigned and discounts added, making it a collectible. In order to receive the discount, pin bearers must be visibly wearing the pin during visit.
So if everybody wants a piece of the deal, they have to have their own pin! Make sure you buy yours soon because there is a limited quantity. Pins are $10, but with tax and shipping, the total comes out to $11. List of participating restaurants can be found below.
: Pins can be purchased at the North Pole Information Booth located inside Christmas in the Park. Pins can also be purchased online through PayPal by clicking on the 'Buy Now' button. Orders will be processed the next business day and the pin will be mailed out and should arrive within 3-5 business days. A confirmation email will be sent to those who purchase the pin online.
