Christmas in the Park is located at Plaza de
Cesar Chavez, on Market Street between San Carlos and San Fernando
in downtown San José. Throughout the holiday season, parking in city
parking lots is free after 6:00 p.m. and on weekends.
San Jose's Light Rail Line conveniently reaches Christmas in the Park.

Driving Directions
Christmas in the Park is bound by San Fernando Street on the north of the Park
and San Carlos at the south end of the Park. Market Street runs up the west
and east sides.
280 Southbound (from San Francisco)
- Take 280 South to the Vine Street/Almaden Boulevard exit
- Turn left on Almaden Boulevard
- Turn right on San Carlos Street
- Christmas in the Park (Cesar Chavez Park) is on the left at the corner of
Market Street and San Carlos Street
680 Southbound (from Livermore, Milpitas)
- Take 680 South until it becomes 280 North at the 101 interchange
- Take the Bird Avenue exit, turn right
- Turn right on San Carlos Street
- Christmas in the Park is on the corner of Market Street and San Carlos Street
101 Southbound (from San Francisco)
- Take 101 South to the Guadalupe Parkway 87 exit
- Continue on Guadalupe Parkway 87
- Take Park Avenue/San Carlos Street exit, turn left
- Christmas in the Park is on the corner of Market Street and San Carlos Street
101 Northbound (from Gilroy)
- Take 101 North to San Francisco
- Take the 85 North exit
- Take 87 North exit towards downtown San José

- Take 17/880 South to the Coleman Avenue exit
- Turn left on Coleman Avenue and continue on Coleman Avenue
- Coleman Avenue becomes Market Street after Hwy. 87

- Take 17 North to Downtown San José/280 South exit
